Traditional cookware made by the last generation of artisans from Thenkasi district of Tamil Nadu
Hand-made Cast Iron Appachatti, pre- seasoned with heat & oil. Seasoning to be done once before first use.
Directions to use: Wash well before use. Wipe it dry. Cut an onion and fry it in the kadai with 3-4 spoons of cooking oil for 3 to 4 minutes. Discard onion and repeat if necessary. Apply oil and store appachatti to avoid rusting. Follow the usage instructions provided in the manual.
